DigitaLingua: Exploring Needs for Teaching Greek as a Second Language Online

Our DigitaLingua project is progressing!

On the 26 and 27 of March, we organized two focus groups dedicated to identifying the needs of educators and students when teaching and learning Greek as a second language online to answer those in the most efficient and educative way. Thanks to the participation of 6 educators and 11 students, we got valuable insights into the challenges teachers and students face when teaching and learning Greek as a second language online and utilizing digital tools. We also explored how to enhance the digital skills of both groups.

Before this, our Educational Department also conducted five interviews with academics and university professors specializing in new approaches to language learning to obtain their expertise on the best way to implement a response to the challenges faced by students and lecturers regarding e-learning Greek as a second language.

Those insights are essential for the development of our project. Thank you to everyone who participated in the focus groups and the interviews!
