Free Summer Greek Language School for Migrant & Refugee Teens

Refugee Teens (Ages 13-18)!

We are excited to announce that registrations are now open for our free Summer Greek Language School, specially designed for migrant and refugee teenagers aged 13 to 18.

The program will offer in-person A1 and A2 Greek language classes in Nicosia, helping participants improve their everyday communication skills, build confidence in Greek, and support their learning journey in formal education.

📅 Course Dates: June 22 – August 7, 2026
🕓 Total Course Duration: 84 hours (12 hours per week)
📍 Location: Empowerment Center, Themistokli Dervi 43, 1066 Nicosia

At the end of the course, participants will have the opportunity to complete an official language assessment to determine their proficiency level. Participants who successfully complete the course and participate in the assessment will receive an accredited certificate of achievement.

🧩 More than just language classes!
Alongside lessons, participants will take part in fun summer activities, excursions, recreational activities, and community-building experiences throughout the program. Snacks and refreshments will also be provided during sessions, and participants will have access to the Empowerment Center’s recreational and leisure spaces, including board games, PlayStation 5, study areas, mini-library access, and other creative activities.

This is a great opportunity for teenagers to stay engaged, learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy a productive and enriching summer in a safe and welcoming environment.
