Highlights from the First FIFA Intercultural Futsal 5v5 Tournament
In November 2024, over 170 participants representing more than 25 nationalities came together for the FIFA Intercultural Futsal 5v5 Tournament. The event aimed to unite people from diverse backgrounds, celebrate unity and promote anti-racism in Cyprus.
Football proved once again to be a powerful tool that transcends borders, bringing people together regardless of ethnicity, skin color, or cultural differences. As participants shared, the sport fosters connections and builds bridges of understanding and solidarity.
Thank you to the Central Park Football Fields at The English School for providing the venue and to the FIFA Foundation for supporting the event through the Football for Unity project.
