Make It Change
Generation for Change CY is inviting young people aged 16-23 to take part in the Make It Change Program, a hands-on initiative that supports you in turning your ideas into real action in your school, university, or community.
From April to September 2026, participants will receive direct financial support covering the expenses and practical mentorship to design and implement their own small-scale social actions addressing issues that matter to them. These may include challenges such as tackling racism and discrimination, improving aspects of the education system, or strengthening accountability and fairness in their communities.
Participants will also have the opportunity to directly voice their issues of concern to policymakers at both the national and EU levels, contributing to real conversations and influencing decision-making processes.
Alongside this, you will take part in a series of national and transnational activities, including workshops on policy writing and advocacy, collaborative sessions with young people across Europe, and opportunities to engage with decision-makers. The program will culminate in a fully funded opportunity for selected participants to travel to Brussels and present their ideas at the European Parliament.
Program Flow
The program begins in April with a Policy Paper Writing Training, where participants will build the foundations of advocacy and form pairs to work together throughout the program. From May to September 2026, participants will develop and implement their own initiatives, while also engaging in transnational collaboration with young people from Lithuania, France, and Italy through online workshops and debates. Throughout this process, they will refine their ideas, strengthen their proposals, and receive feedback from experts. The program culminates in September 2026, when selected participants will travel to Brussels to present their work at the European Parliament.
