Movie and Discussion Night Pt.2
Thank you all for joining our Movie and Discussion night pt.2! Together we watched the movie “My human self” presenting Kostas’s story, a man who after losing his job, starts a social kitchen for people in need in Greece. After the screening, through a moderated panel, we discussed with humanitarians in Cyprus their challenges and motivations leading them to support and express solidarity with the most vulnerable in our society.We thank Ibrahim Kamara, a Member of Support for Immigration Group, Maria Fouskouli, Founder and coordinator of Let’s Be Better People and Tamam Almahmoud, Coordinator of food donations and distributions at ZFWC – Zero Food Waste Cyprus, for their participation and support.
The event took place in collaboration with the Youth Humanitarian Action.

Σας ευχαριστούμε όλους που παραβρεθήκατε στη δεύτερη βραδιά ταινιών και συζητήσεων! Μαζί παρακολουθήσαμε την ταινία “Ο Άλλος Άνθρωπος” που παρουσιάζει την ιστορία του Κώστα, ενός ανθρώπου που αφού χάνει τη δουλειά του, ξεκινάει μια κοινωνική κουζίνα για ανθρώπους που έχουν ανάγκη στην Ελλάδα. Μετά την προβολή, μέσα από ένα συντονισμένο πάνελ, συζητήσαμε με ανθρωπιστές στην Κύπρο για τις προκλήσεις και τα κίνητρα που τους οδηγούν να στηρίζουν και να εκφράζουν την αλληλεγγύη τους στους πιο ευάλωτους της κοινωνίας μας.Ευχαριστούμε τον Ibrahim Kamara, μέλος της ομάδας Support for Immigration Group, τη Μαρία Φουσκούλη, ιδρύτρια και συντονίστρια του Let’s Be Better People και τον Tamam Almahmoud, συντονιστή των δωρεών και διανομών τροφίμων στο Zero Food Waste Cyprus, για τη συμμετοχή και την υποστήριξή τους.
Η εκδήλωση πραγματοποιήθηκε σε συνεργασία με την Humanitarian Action Youth.
