Opportunity for paid volunteering at Generation for Change CY

We are thrilled to announce our European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Project for 2024 at Generation for Change CY (GFC). We are inviting one passionate individual aged 18-30 to join us for an immersive experience 6-month.

GFC is a grassroots non-profit organization composed of diverse individuals working towards a fair and inclusive society in Cyprus. We support marginalized communities and advocate for social justice. In 2023, we received the “Outstanding Social Contribution Award” from the University of Nicosia, a “Human Rights Honorary Diploma” from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus, and the “Democracy Award” from Politeia Cyprus.

As an ESC participant, you will contribute significantly to our mission and gain invaluable skills for your professional and personal growth. You will work within our three organizational pillars: Humanitarian Aid, Empowerment and Integration, and Awareness-raising and Advocacy.

We offer a comprehensive package including accommodation, a monthly stipend (400 EUR), travel expenses (monthly local bus pass or bicycle or 30 EUR per month for gas), medical insurance coverage (if needed), local transportation, language support, continuous training, support, and mentorship.

We are looking for individual who align with GFC’s values, demonstrate a strong commitment to human rights, possess diverse interests or backgrounds, display motivation for growth, demonstrate collaborative skills, and can commit to volunteering for at least six months.
