ParticipACTION in Motion: Youth Shaping Europe's Future at the Transnational Workshop in Verona
On June 26th and 27th, young people from across Europe, including Cyprus, gathered in Verona, Italy, for a 1.5-day Transnational Workshop. This workshop brought together youth participants and key stakeholders to address important issues such as civic and democratic participation, migration, rights and the rule of law, education, culture, youth, and sports.
The workshop included presentations of national assessments and outcomes from roundtable discussions held in each participating country. Youth representatives highlighted key themes in the context of their local realities, while project staff provided an overview of relevant EU policies and solidarity mechanisms.
Participants shared insights from their national discussions, explored EU-level policies, and collaborated in groups to identify common challenges and propose practical recommendations. The workshop fostered cross-border dialogue and encouraged collaborative thinking on how to strengthen youth engagement throughout Europe.
This workshop was held under the ParticipACTION project, in collaboration with IRC Italia, GLOCAL Factory, PLACE Network, and Mano Europa., co-funded by the European Union through the CERV-2023-CITIZENS-CIV.
