Transnational Synthesis and Roadmaps for Youth Inclusion and Support
Generation for Change CY, in partnership with Blackwater Training & Consulting (Ireland) and the Foundation “Situational Center Open Doors” (Bulgaria), has published a report titled “Transnational Synthesis and Roadmaps for Youth Inclusion and Support.”
This publication compiles a set of youth-centered interventions implemented in Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Ireland as part of the BEYOND project. Instead of focusing on comparative analysis, it translates identified needs into practical, adaptable roadmaps designed to support at-risk youth aged 14 to 30, including migrants, refugees, and displaced young people.
The roadmaps outline specific interventions that target mental health and psychosocial well-being, social inclusion, language development, employability skills, and physical and community-based activities. All interventions are rooted in trauma-informed care, beneficiary-led design, and universal design for learning, which ensures accessibility, participation, and sustainability.
This publication serves as a practical guide for civil society organizations, youth workers, and public actors who are looking to replicate or adapt inclusive youth support interventions in various local contexts.
The report was developed within the framework of the BEYOND – Building Bridges: Empowering Youth, Nurturing Determination project and is co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program.
