In our aim to advocate for a fair and inclusive society, we work with vulnerable and marginalized communities, channeling their grievances and voices to make sure they are heard. Through advocacy and awareness-raising activities, we highlight discriminatory practice and policies as well as the tools and mechanisms available to confront these.

DigitalLingua: Bridging Language Gaps in the Digital Sphere (DigitalLingua)
Across Europe, adult migrants and refugees face increasing challenges in acquiring the language skills necessary for integration—challenges amplified by limited digital access and the shift to online learning. DigitalLingua responds to these barriers by enhancing the quality of distance second language (L2) teaching and equipping educators and learners with the digital and pedagogical skills needed to thrive in today’s digital landscape.
The project supports both educators and migrants and refugees through innovative, accessible, and inclusive digital education tools. By focusing on second language teaching and digital competency, DigitalLingua aims to improve educational outcomes and foster the long-term inclusion of migrants across the EU.
The project’s general objectives are to improve the quality and effectiveness of online second language education for migrants and to promote their inclusion and integration by strengthening their language proficiency and digital literacy. These objectives work hand in hand to ensure both educators and migrants are empowered to navigate and contribute to an increasingly digital society.
Specific Objectives
- Strengthen the pedagogical expertise of educators to improve second language proficiency and digital competency among migrants.
- Advance the digital readiness of educators and adult migrant learners through innovative teaching practices and resources.
- Use interactive and culturally respectful methods to support migrants’ participation in society and the labor market.
Key Activities
- Conduct research to identify challenges and best practices in digital second language teaching for migrants.
- Develop a comprehensive Digital Toolkit and Report accessed by 500+ educators.
- Deliver hybrid and online training to 205 educators across four countries.
- Pilot online language courses for 400 migrants and refugees in Greece, Spain, Cyprus, and Italy.
- Organize national and transnational dissemination events, including five conferences, to increase visibility and impact.
