Donation Drive
The Donation Drive is the core humanitarian aid initiative of Generation for Change CY and a vital effort that directly supports low-income individuals in our community. By providing essential items such as food, hygiene products, bedding, clothing, and kitchen utensils, we aim not only to meet basic needs but also to offer comfort, relief, and dignity to those we serve.
Beyond material support, the program fosters a spirit of volunteerism and strengthens community solidarity by engaging members of the public in meaningful acts of giving. Since January 2021, we have distributed over 6,000 support packages, reaching more than 18,000 individuals in need.
As the program continues, we invite you to join our mission to assist even more vulnerable households. You can support us by donating items such as rice, pasta, and tomato paste; hygiene essentials like soap, toothpaste, and sanitary pads; or household necessities including bedding, kitchen utensils, and warm winter clothing and shoes.
Your contribution can make a lasting difference in the lives of those most in need.
Support Box Contain
FOOD: Dry Food (Pasta, Rice, Legumes, Noodles), Oil, Long Life Milk, Tomato paste/sauce, Cereal, Bread
CLOTHING: Winter attire: Tracksuit, Jackets, etc.
HYGIENE ESSENTIALS: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Menstrual Pads, Toilet paper, Diapers
KITCHEN UTENSILS: Pots, Pans, Plates, Cups, Spoons, Forks
The Process
Needs Identification: Explore and identify the current urgent needs of our beneficiaries and adapt our support system accordingly.
Reach out for support: Contact companies and individuals who are positive about supporting our efforts to provide relief.
Volunteering: Create a group of volunteers from different communities, universities, schools, and fields.
Execution: Prepare packages and do weekly drop-offs for the families/individuals.

Giving Sunday
Within the Donation Drive programme, we organise “Giving Sunday” events for parents to have access to free second-hand clothes for children aged 0-14. Additional items such as school bags, shoes, and winter accessories are available during these events.
