In our aim to advocate for a fair and inclusive society, we work with vulnerable and marginalized communities, channeling their grievances and voices to make sure they are heard. Through advocacy and awareness-raising activities, we highlight discriminatory practice and policies as well as the tools and mechanisms available to confront these.

Building Inclusive Civic Engagement and Solidarity Among Diverse Young People in Europe (ParticipACTION)
One in six people across the European Union (EU) are aged 15-29 years old, representing 73.6 million individuals. Yet, in multiple EU Member States, young people, especially young women and third-country nationals (TCNs), lack sufficient or legitimate representation in local and national institutions and remain active in informal networks. ParticipACTION responds to the need to increase young people’s genuine involvement in decision-making and their engagement in society by fostering a transnational partnership directly involving young citizens.
Furthermore, ParticipACTION focuses on the promotion of solidarity by fostering mutual understanding of shared barriers to democratic participation, with particular attention to the involvement of third-country nationals, migrant youth, women, and girls. The goal of the project is to equip youth with the tools to influence EU democratic processes while promoting a bottom-up approach that ensures young people’s lived realities are at the heart of policy decisions.
Specific Objectives
- Young people (16-23) from diverse backgrounds, particularly Third Country Nationals (TCNs) with a focus on young migrants, especially women, and girls, are engaged in how to address gaps and obstacles to their participation in EU democratic life and decision-making processes.
- Young people (16-23) from diverse backgrounds, particularly TCNs with a focus on young migrants, especially girls and women, increase their knowledge of their rights and EU values, institutions, and policies and have skills and opportunities to participate in the democratic life and decision-making processes at the EU level.
- Young people (16-23) from diverse backgrounds, particularly TCNs with a focus on young migrants, especially girls and women, establish communication with policymakers at local, national, and EU levels on their views and concerns on the three project themes.
- Foster gender and diversity-sensitive inclusivity between young people from diverse backgrounds, especially enhancing solidarity and connection between EU and Third Country Nationals (TCNs)
