In our aim to advocate for a fair and inclusive society, we work with vulnerable and marginalized communities, channeling their grievances and voices to make sure they are heard. Through advocacy and awareness-raising activities, we highlight discriminatory practice and policies as well as the tools and mechanisms available to confront these.

A Young Migrant Digital Inclusion (WAVE)
In today’s digital society, young migrants and refugees across Europe face deepening challenges in accessing the digital tools and skills necessary for their integration and participation. Barriers such as language, lack of access to technology, and limited digital literacy place them at high risk of exclusion. WAVE is a transnational initiative that aims to close the digital divide affecting marginalized migrant youth by empowering them with essential digital skills and by equipping those who support them—trainers, youth workers, and community peers—with innovative tools and methods for digital education.
WAVE contributes to a more inclusive digital transformation in Europe, ensuring that migrant youth are not left behind. Through a combination of peer-to-peer support, co-created educational resources, and capacity-building for digital trainers, the project fosters community resilience, active citizenship, and equitable digital access.
The project’s general objective is to promote digital inclusion among young migrants and refugees by delivering tailored, accessible digital skills education and by strengthening the capacities of the professionals and peers who support them. In the long term, WAVE aims to reduce social distance, strengthen integration pathways, and contribute to national and EU-wide strategies on digital inclusion and youth participation.
Specific Objectives
- Empower young migrants and refugees by improving their digital skills, literacy, and access, fostering their inclusion in the digital world.
- Build the capacities of youth workers and young digital instructors to support young migrants and refugees in their digital learning journey effectively.
- Empower young individuals to actively contribute to the digital inclusion process for disadvantaged migrants and refugees through peer support and community engagement.
Key Activities
- Conduct primary and secondary research on the challenges of migrant and refugee youth in acquiring digital skills and identify best practices for developing and enhancing these skills.
- Develop an innovative Digital Skills Toolkit to support non-formal education in digital literacy and skills for migrant and refugee youth.
- Develop and deliver a digital skills training program for 190 youth trainers across partner countries.
- Engage 110 Local Digital Peers (aged 18–30) in peer-to-peer digital inclusion activities to support migrant and refugee youth.
- Implement a job-shadowing exchange for 10 trainers.
- Organize Digital Skills Inclusion Days to foster exposure to digital tools and enhance youth leadership, active citizenship, and intercultural dialogue.
