Struggle and Resilience: Challenges Faced by At-Risk Youth in Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Ireland (Mini Report)

Generation for Change CY, in collaboration with partners from Ireland and Bulgaria, has published a new mini-report under the BEYOND project, exploring the experiences, needs, and barriers faced by at-risk youth, including migrant and refugee youth in three European countries. The research captures youth voices from Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Ireland through a mixed-methods approach, highlighting shared and country-specific challenges.

 

The report sheds light on critical issues such as limited access to education and employment, inadequate mental health support, housing insecurity, and discrimination. It emphasizes the urgent need for youth-centered and community-based initiatives to foster inclusion, resilience, and meaningful participation of at-risk youth across Europe.
