The second round of the certified Barista Training
The second round of the certified Barista Training for refugees and migrants was a remarkable success. Throughout a 1-week intensive program, 4 participants followed a comprehensive training that included an Introduction to Coffee, hands-on training, and the Barista Intermediate Class Curriculum, combining practical and online assessments.
The week concluded with an Open Day at IheartCoffee Roasters, where participants showcased their skills by serving coffee to various guests. We were delighted to see so many guests attend the Open Day to enjoy a cup of coffee and show their support for the newly certified baristas.
All four participants earned the Specialty Coffee Association Barista Certification, validating their dedication and newly acquired expertise. We wholeheartedly congratulate the participants for their incredible dedication and commitment to this training, as well as their ambition to enter the coffee industry in Cyprus.
