Workshop: African Cinema & Society

How does cinema contribute to social change?
Join Youssouf’s workshop on the 12th of March, between 17:00-19:30 (Address: 28 Archiepiskopou Makariou III Nicosia, Generation for Change CY office) and learn about African cinema and society. The workshop will be in English, free of charge and open to anyone who wants to discuss how cinema can change the way we view the world.

About the Volunteer Educator:
“Youssouf Bah is a young filmmaker of African Guinean origin who is currently an Asylum Seeker living in Cyprus. Having been a passionate cineaste from a young age in his country of origin, he formed and led a cinematographic group producing educational, constructive videos which sought to highlight examples of harmful facts of society such as Government financial mismanagement or forced marriage.”
